Yes! SunSUP offers take-away SUP rental from Friday to Monday. You can take the board to your favourite lake, river, or another suitable body of water and enjoy SUP at your own pace.

The SUP rental package includes an inflatable SUP board, paddle, pump, life jacket, and carrying bag. You can easily take the package with you in your car.

Can I take the SUP board to another location in Latvia?

Yes. When renting a take-away SUP board, you can use it on different bodies of water in Latvia, while following safety rules and any restrictions that apply at the specific location.

Is SUP rental suitable for beginners?

Yes, SUP is also suitable for people without previous experience. Beginners should start on calm water, without strong wind or waves, and use a life jacket.

Is special training required to use a SUP board?

Previous experience is not required. Before going on the water for the first time, it is important to familiarise yourself with the equipment, basic safety principles, and weather conditions. At first, you can also paddle sitting down or kneeling. A life jacket must be used.

Is SUP rental suitable for children and families?

SUP can be a great activity for families when equipment suitable for the child’s age and abilities is chosen, there is adult supervision, and the weather conditions are safe. We recommend agreeing on the most suitable rental solution individually.

Can I take a SUP board out to sea?

SUP boards can also be used at sea, but only in suitable weather conditions and according to your level of experience. Pay particular attention to wind direction, waves, and currents. Beginners are safer choosing calm water.

Does SunSUP offer SUP rental for groups?

Yes. SunSUP has up to 20 SUP packages available, so we can provide equipment for groups of friends, teams, and different events. Rental and delivery terms can be agreed individually for groups.
