SUPYOGA and SUPFITNESS

Starting July 5th, join us every Friday at 20:00 for SUPFitness classes near Katrīnbāde beach in Saulkrasti, led by the fantastic trainer Laura Timoško. Come and be part of this unique experience!

SUPYOGA and SUPFITNESS. What to expect?

Enjoy a harmonious and enriching lesson as you wait for the sunset. This is more than just a workout—it's an experience worth savoring during the warm Latvian summer! You'll exercise your arms, legs, shoulders, and back, while also developing deep muscle strength, body coordination, and balance. Ending the work week with SUP training at sunset is a perfect way to transition into the holiday spirit.

• When: Every Friday at 20:00-21.00
• Where: Saulkrasti, by Katrīnbāde beach (for map and navigation: SunSUP, Rīga iela 73A)
• Fee: €20 (includes SUP equipment, safety vest, and coaching)
• What to Bring: Towel, change of clothes, water
• Attire: Swimsuit or tracksuit that can get wet
• Previous skills: SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) is quite stable and suitable for various fitness levels. Come join us and enjoy a fantastic workout on the water!
• Parking: You can park your car in the paid parking lot in front of the family restaurant “Abra”, Rīga Street 75A or along the side of Rīga Street.
• Cycling: Safe parking is available for bicycles at our location.
• Participants: We start with a minimum of 5 people and can accommodate up to 22 participants.
• Weather: In case of very bad weather, we will inform all registered participants in advance.

SunSUP invites you to join us for the one-day SUP expedition from Riga and Saulkrasti to RUMMU and back by minibus. Event costs covers trip, entrance fee to the RUMMU quarry, SUP board for each participant for comfortable exploration of the RUMMU quarry and the sunken prison, relaxation on and by the water. We will provide for each participant the SUP board, its equipment and safety vest.

Additional costs: children's inflatable amusement park in the quarry (8 EUR first hour/ 4 EUR each subsequent hour), meals at your own discretion.

Trip plan:

🚗7.00 departure from Riga
🚙8.00 departure from Saulkrasti
🏄11.00 arrival to RUMMU, inflate our boards and settle on the beach
🏄11.00-15.00 relaxing, SUP boarding, climbing the ash hill, sunbathing
🏄15.00 we get ready to go back
🍲16.30 - 18.30 free time in Pärnu, lunch
🚗about 19.00 heading back home

The timetable may change slightly depending on the group's wishes, mood and weather conditions. Bring comfortable clothes for relaxing at the quarry and SUPing. We advice you to take snacks and drinks, as there is not a wide choice in the café in the quarry area.

Rummu Quarry is located near Tallinn, Estonia and has become very popular in recent years. The prison buildings and trees are flooded under the clear blue-green water of the quarry. They are clearly visible when you SUP board above them. Visibility under water is said to be up to 20 metres. Climbing the ash hill next to the quarry is equally exciting.
